As part of its own continuing transformation, OCCI applied for a change in name with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2008. This was approved on September 30 and OCCI became the OCCI Center for Learning.
 
This strategic move was part of the business plan to become a full blown educational institution by 2010 or earlier. Thus, from the Coaching Company as a corporate brand, the process to become the first Filipino coaching school had begun. We are motivated by our 15 year track record of successfully facilitating and coaching men and women towards fuller lives, an achievement we share with our graduates who have become our mission partners as OCCI Facilitators and Leap Coaches.
 
Becoming an educational institution promoting the OCCI Trilogy and having its own Facilitators and Coaches Certification program will allow us to further expand the mission of transforming the Philippines by transforming the Filipino. Putting more structure in our courses will assure that quality standards will be maintained as we develop more men and women who want to join the Work of personal and societal transformation.
 
Also in 2008, the OCCI Trilogy and Certification Program were approved as units that can be credited to a SAIDI School of OD Masters Degree Diploma. The next strategic move is to have the OCCI training programs accredited as a Certificate course with TESDA (Technical Educational and Skills Development Authority).
